Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or otherwise called ADHD is an attention and behavioral disorder that affects children and some times, adults too. Stimulants: ADHD medication can also include stimulants that are given in small but many dosages per day. They help in increasing attention span and can help children in performing tasks better. They can also cause side effects like decreased appetite, stomachache and insomnia<.p>

Non stimulants: This type of ADHD medications is given to children to reduce their hyperactivity. Hyperactivity can lead to uncontrolled behavior and regulated doses of this medication can help them to control their behavior. These medications cause fewer side effects and are considered relative safe for usage.
